This hillside, originally covered in juniper, now provides areas for kids to play, parents to relax, and bees to produce honey. The steep slope and full sun exposure made this Castro Valley garden a great place to focus on colorful low-maintenance, drought-tolerant plants. We also incorporated seven fruit trees for the whole family to enjoy.
